Grow in skill, service and security.
Our goal is to not only attract the best candidates, but to keep them: inspiring them with teamwork, nurturing professional growth and giving them the resources to do their best work. That includes a compensation package that features:
Health Insurance Benefits
Springpoint Senior Living’s health insurance program consists of medical, hospitalization, prescription, dental and vision. Benefits are available to spouses and dependents (with proof of marital status and dependent status). Health care insurance is available to all full-time employees (30 hours per week or more) on the 1st of the month after completing three full months of active service. Employees also have the option to waive coverage.
- Medical — Springpoint offers several medical plan options that can help protect employees and their families from the high costs of medical care. Employees can choose from the following: Aetna Choice POS II®- Premier Option, Preferred Option or Primary Basic Option. Each plan includes prescription drug coverage.
- Dental — Springpoint offers three options: Aetna Dental Preferred PPO; Aetna Dental Premier PPO and Aetna Dental DMO.
- Vision — The Davis Vision plan provides access to accredited optometrists and ophthalmologists, and offers both in-network and out-of-network provider benefits.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible spending allows participating employees to use pre-tax dollars to pay for qualified health care expenses which are not covered under their health care plans and qualified dependent and/or child care expenses. Participation is optional.
Springpoint provides employees with short-term disability income benefits. In the event an employee becomes disabled from a non-work-related injury or sickness, disability income benefits are provided as a source of income.
Springpoint Senior Living offers group term life coverage to employees. The benefit is based on salary and is available at no cost to employees. Life insurance is available to full-time and part-time employees. Supplementary voluntary life insurance is available as an option to all full-time and part-time employees.
Employee Assistance Program
Springpoint Senior Living offers an Employee Assistance Program through Aetna Resources for Living.
Springpoint 401(k) Retirement Plan
Springpoint contributes a three percent Safe Harbor contribution annually of each eligible employee’s base salary to the retirement plan provided by Prudential. Employees can elect to direct additional deferrals into their account up to the IRS maximum. If the employee elects a deferral percentage, Springpoint matches $.50 of each $1 up to the first 6% of the contribution. To be eligible, an employee must have completed one “eligibility year” in which they are paid for at least 1,000 hours.
Springpoint employees have the opportunity to participate in a credit union. Membership is available to all employees. Through payroll deduction, employees can take advantage of a range of financial resources such as holiday/vacation club, savings account, IRAs and a variety of loan programs.
Springpoint offers an educational assistance program to employees who have been regular full-time employees for at least one year. The course of study must be related to position and/or directly benefit the community. The request must be approved in advance by the community’s Executive Director.
Springpoint recognizes years of service employees serve by awarding Service Awards to eligible employees.
The Benefit Days Plan is a system of compensated time off for full-time employees (pro-rated for part-time employees who work 16 hours a week or more). Benefit days are credited on a rolling basis throughout the year. Employees accumulate Benefit Days from date of hire, but the benefit time is not available until completion of the six month introductory period.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
PTO is accrued each pay period and may be used for scheduled, elective absences (vacations, unrecognized holidays, emergencies, minor illnesses, bereavement, religious observances, personal business and health/dental care). PTO days are based on years of service. The number of days available to Non-Exempt and Exempt employees are based on years of employment, and prorated on hours worked based on a 40 hour work week.
Sick Time Off (ST0)
STO is accrued each pay period and may be used for unscheduled minor illnesses. Employees may accrue up to six days per year for sick time off based on hours worked.
Extended Sick Leave (ESL)
ESL is a companion benefit to STO. Unused STO can be banked on an employee’s anniversary date. The ESL benefit affords additional paid time off in the event of an extended illness/injury or hospitalization and can be used when STO is exhausted.
Springpoint observes six holidays each year: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Springpoint offers several types of leaves-of-absence to full-time and part-time employees with specific needs. These include Family and Medical Leave, Personal Leave and Military Leave.
