Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor. Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical. Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance on a timely basis. Serve food in the dining room as instructed and in accordance with established portion control procedures. Follow all health, safety, sanitary, standard precaution and infection control policies and procedures at all times. Deliver food trays, etc. to designated areas. Remove food trays from carts, dining room, etc. and take to dish washing area. Perform dish washing/cleaning procedures. Prepare and deliver goods, etc. as instructed. Assure that safety regulations are followed at all times by all personnel. Report all hazardous conditions/equipment to the Dining Services Manager, Chef, or Cooks immediately. Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times. Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies. Assure that food and supplies for the next meal are readily available. Assist in food preparation for special meals for parties, etc. Adhere to the dress code of the Dining Services Department.
