Housekeeper - Part time position

Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor. Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical. Routine cleaning of resident rooms (e.g. sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, empty trash baskets, etc.). Scour and polish all bathroom apparatus.  Clean, sanitize, dust and vacuum all areas of the community on a daily basis.

Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance on a timely basis. Serve food in the dining room as instructed and in accordance with established portion control procedures. Follow all health, safety, sanitary, standard precaution and infection control policies and procedures at all times. Report all hazardous conditions/equipment to the Dining Services Manager, Chef, or Cooks immediately. Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times. Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies. Assure that food and supplies for the next meal are readily available.
