POSITION TITLE: Maintenance Mech. II               DEPARTMENT: Facilities

 

Description of Duties: Responsible for electrical and HVAC services throughout the community.  Assist when necessary in other Maintenance and Grounds keeping duties.

 

OPEN DATE: 7/30/2010                             CLOSE DATE:         8/13/2010

START DATE: TBD                                     SHIFT: Full-time

WORK HOURS: 8am to 4:30pm includes some weekends

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

EXPERIENCE: Required: 3 to 5 years experience in electrical or mechanical systems, computer skills.

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

 

Friendly, takes initiative, willing to learn, and personable with residents, families and co-workers.  Excellent communication skills, able to work in a diverse cultural setting, excellent organizational skills, ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks in a caring and compassionate manner.

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

 

Monroe Village is on 52 beautifully landscaped acres in Central New Jersey with a 60 bed skilled facility and a 28-Unit Assisted Living.  The atmosphere is warm, friendly and family-like. Works beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
