LivWell Program Manager

The LivWell Program Manager is responsible for carrying out Springpoint Senior Living's LivWell philosophy by establishing and maintaining an extensive events calendar that incorporates the 7 dimensions of wellness physical, intellectual, social, environment, spiritual, vocational and emotional wellbeing. The Program Manager is a member of a multi-disciplinary team, and is responsible for creating an environment designed to meet the residents needs through a full range of programs to exceed resident satisfaction and in accordance with the regulations of accrediting agencies.

Some of the daily tasks associated with this role include but are not limited to: Function as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, and is responsible for creating an environment designed to meet the residents needs through a full range of therapeutic, social and recreational programs in alignment with industry standards & accrediting agencies. Engaging and motivating residents and staff as to increase program participation. Plan and adapt activity programs for a resident population who may function at a variety of physical and cognitive abilities. Design and conduct a schedule of programs and events across the continuum that incorporate the 7 dimensions of the LivWell Programand that includes resident input into the design of the program. Resident input is derived from LivWell Assessment Date, resident committees and Council suggestions, individual resident suggestions and LivWell/care team member ideas. Coordinate the development of programs and special events with organizations outside of the senior living community to promote social accountability and connectivity with the greater community. Attend and support resident-run committees and groups that are engaged in development of LivWell programming. Lead, assist/co-lead various LivWell programs demonstrating leadership and acting as a role model for the LivWell brand. Provide leadership to the LivWell Program Coordinators (Fitness Coordinator & recreation staff), and hold them accountable for carrying out and supporting the LivWell philosophy and program standards. Design, create and implement the LivWell Calendars of Events across the continuum. Collaborate with the Coordinators & Departmental Directors in the development of the programming across the continuum and direct the deployment of LivWell Program to individuals who are tasked to help carry out programming. Discuss the residents' physical, emotional, behavioral, and social functioning in activities programming with departmental staff and the Resident Care Review Committee. Participate in the development of the LivWell programmatic operating budgets across the continuum (IL, SNF, Fitness and Life Enhancement).
